Welcome to Making the PYP Happen in the Classroom!
This wiki is designed to document our collaborative inquiry into the PYP. It currently has all the IB documents and readings you will need to successfully participate in the workshop. The wiki will also be used to document our learning and record our shared resources. You will be able to access this wiki when you return to school and begin to implement things in your schools and classrooms.
Your facilitators:
We have a very large group for this workshop so we have divided the group into two smaller workshops.
Workshop A will be facilitated by Lee-Anne Pyke.
Workshop B will be facilitated by Nick Martin.
What you need to do prior to the workshop...
As you access this wiki please read all sections carefully. You need to:
Complete the “Pre-Workshop Survey” which will provide us with information to tailor the workshop to your needs.
Add an introduction to the “Introduce yourself” post on the "Discussions" page so we can get to know each other a little before the workshop.
Print or save to your computer the “IB Documents” as well as the “Readings”. These will be used and referred to during the workshop – please don’t rely on accessing them online during the workshop just in case the internet access is not reliable. If you can familiarize yourself with the documents and readings before the workshop begins that would be advantageous.
Print or save your school's Mission Statement, Programme of Inquiry (PoI) and some Units of Inquiry (UoI) that you have collaborated on.
If you have any questions or concerns, please add a question to the "Discussions" section on the left.
